CommentRight you are about bad roads, Susanne. We never complain about them. The worse the roads are, the less traffic we have.

Comment...and Betsy, some people here complain over the bumps, hole, mud and dust on our graveled road that goes from the highway down to Väner lake. They want to coat it with asphalt. They say the bad road damage their cars. But why drive so fast? the road just leeds to the lake, passing some farms a nd houses. If they drive slowly, they can enjoy the beautiful landscape with open fields and woodland, creels and sometimes wild animals. I think the bumps and holes are super - hopefully preventing SOME tourists from playing rallydrivers! Susanne

CommentMarch means sheep shearing time here, and we just finished the yearling replacement ewes and our few Icelandics. Later in the week we will begin on the main flock. It's nice to start on the smaller ones and work our way into the heavier ewes. I don't know why hard work should be so much fun, but it is.

CommentHa! Runo read what you wrote, Jan, and he wonders why WE didn't have cherry pie after our chicken soup!
