Dear Besty and Runo, I just finshed reading Besty's book On The Edge Of The Slashings... I had purchased the book about twelve years ago when I came to Tustin with a good Friend of mine. Janet Langler, she is a good friend of your sister Nancy. I had read your book shortly after I purchased it and had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I would Love to visit your Farm and meet you both, I hunger for simplicity. I Love and appreciate Nature, I hike or snowshoe everyday day at a State Park near where I live. So I can undrestand how you feel when you go out walking or sking. Janet said she would bring me along next time she comes to visit, I hope that will be ok.....Maybe ,Maple Syrup time, or during Lambing ???? I will be looking forword to it.
