CommentHi Betsy and Runo, I haven't had a chance to visit your website very often, but tonight had some time to sit and catch up a bit. I'm glad your lambing is going well for the most part. Pierre and I started lambing in Feb. and with the winter being so brutal it was a difficult start. But we have many success stories too. I read with interest your working with the ewe's who didn't show an interest in their lambs. We had more this year than ever before that wanted to just walk away. I will have to call you and see just how you get them to take their lambs. Most of our efforts have failed and that leaves us with 6 bottle lambs to date. I'm hoping for more spring like weather now as we settle into April. I think the long harsh winter has made all of our spirits droop a bit. Take care and I will try and call next week sometime Sharon Schierbeek, McBain, MI 49657

CommentHi Betsy, I enjoyed reading about the maple syrup time at the sugar bush. I imagine Greg and Laurie had the children down for a while. Did Gracie get over to enjoy the time? We leave here on the 1st and will work our way home. That brings up a question, did my neighbor, Ella, reach you? She called here in Georgia to find out how to get in contact. Karen

CommentLooks as if the deep freeze is about to thaw a bit. We have been enjoying the nice sunshine even as the morning temperatures have been well below zero. Keeps us busy moving the wood pile through the stove and out again as ashes. Keeps us warm during all these processes.

CommentHi Betsy, I am testing this for Don and it looks good. We are just about ready to go to FL. There are always a few last minute things. Hope I don't forget anything important! Mitzi
