CommentI really have enough trouble with English but thanks for thinking I might be able to learn something new :> Yes, Nancy has mentioned the scarves you are all doing. That Merrie doesn't seem to give anyone a chance to rest does she? We were able to have our family Christmas this past Sat. and had a very good time. It seems like we don't get together as often as we'd like with them and so these times are really fun. Have Nancy tell you about the game or whatever we did for them. So much fun. I think next year we will expand on the idea. Have been reading along with the socks so I manage to keep myself entertained. Have two quilts to make for graduation and am starting on them tomorrow by going to JoAnn Fabric and turning in my 40% off coupons on batting and interfacing and hopefully some fabric. These are made out of the t-shirts they've worn in school. Interesting collection! Happy New Year to you both and will see you before graduation time so you can see the fruits of my winter. Janet

CommentHaha! Oh, Jan, I guess you will have to come up next summer and we will have some Swedish lessons! Nancy told me you had to call off your first attempt at your Christmas get together, so hope the weather cooperates this time. We went skiing this afternoon, and with Runo, that means going through every brushy place, over every beaver dam, over the creeks, and any other place that looks "interesting." Guess I must like the same terrain, because I had a good time, too. Knitting socks isn't such a bad addiction, in my opinion. Did Nancy tell you about the scarves we are going to make for the Special Olympics? Greetings to both you and Earl and best wishes for a good year in 2009. Happy New Year!

CommentNo Fair!!! I can't read your Swedish blogs! I know you like winter but we are ready for it to be over! The cold weather gets harder to bear each year. Our family will be here Saturday for our delayed Christmas. they all got iced in on the 26th which is when we usually get together. I'm still knitting those darn socks!...over 30 pair I think. Could have a worse addiction I think. Happy New Year to you both and hello to Runo. Janet and Earl
